Jon Valamides, O.D. 

Dr. Jon Valamides is a native Texan, born in Ft. Worth.  He went to high school at Arlington High, and received his Bachelors of Science in Biology degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.  Being a second generation optometrist he chose to follow his grandfathers lead in attending Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.  He completed the four year Doctorate of Optometry program in 2007.  Dr. Valamides is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.  He provides full scope optometric care to patients of all ages.  He is trained to treat most diseases of the eye, and fit all types of contact lenses.

When away from the office Dr. Valamides loves to spend time with his wife and best friend Audra and their puppies Sidney and Kiwi.  He loves taking his son to baseball games, playing golf, taking in a good movie, and everything DFW sports related.
